About the Game

President Forever 2016 is a sophisticated strategy simulation that delivers both gameplay and realism. President Forever 2016 includes both the general election and primaries, and comes with 2016, 2012, 2008, 1968, and 1912. It is the sequel to President Forever 2008, featuring a completely rebuilt game engine from the 2008 version.

The goal is simple: win enough Electoral College votes to win the election. You are responsible for all aspects of your candidate’s election strategy: planning and buying advertising, conducting fundraising, giving speeches, recruiting high-profile and grassroots supporters and spinning news.

May I say how excellent this simulation seems to me to be. As a Brit, I have enjoyed playing it and learnt a great deal already about political processes in general and the American process in particular. I have also learnt where all the 50 states are, and something about the politics of each!
